Marina V. Deryabina

Marina V. Deryabina lives and works in Stavanger, Norway. She is abstract artist, designer and muralist specializing in geometric abstraction. Graduated from Ural State Mining University with a Master’s
degree in Art and Artistic Materials Design.

Marina works with an abstract and minimalist design language, based on emotional association rather than traditional pictorial fundamentals. Heavily inspired by monochrome scenery, lines and geometric form.

 

Minimalistic style in her work is about prioritizing the essential.

A minimalist object is stripped to its core function, realized using limited neutral colors, simple forms and avoiding excess ornamentation to achieve a pure form of elegance.
