Juan RuizVelasco Peral
RuizVelasco's paintings are abstractions of the human body and the landscape: simple lines that transform the canvas through the different scales of the same fractal creating bold surfaces and volumes.
Using a monochrome palette with ink and acrylic, his process focuses on experimentation of forms and the exploration of compositional rules of scale and proportion. His work is a study of the architectural relationship between the solid and the emptiness, creating compositions through the balance or tension between the objects.
